Professional Development Awards are now done via the "Membership System" link in e-Services. The use of the CAPF-24 is not necessary, however it is still a viable option although it will take longer to process. When an individual member has completed the required items for a Professional Development Award, the unit PD Officer should validage those requirements in the "Membership System" area of e-Services and inform the Unit Commander that the action has been taken. Under the "Membership System" area of e-Services, the awards approval details can be viewed by clicking on view details. When that link opens, scroll to the bottom and see who is final approving authority. There will be a listing of each appropriate commander approving the award and date. At this time, there is no automatic notification to the next level of the chain of command that the award is pending.
